Welcome to

Silverdale Nursery

A Glasgow City Council Nursery

“At Silverdale Nursery all children are treated as individuals and we understand that they are the most precious people in your lives. At Silverdale Nursery we value relationships, positive communication and nurturing, stimulating learning environments where children can learn through play.

In our nursery we aim to work in partnership to provide the best outcomes for children and families. We will also strive to provide an environment that supports and further develops children’s knowledge. In Silverdale Nursery we have our children and families at the heart of our decision making process and will ensure all children have the opportunity to be a successful learners, confident individuals, responsible citizens, and effective contributors within the local community and wider world.

It is also important to us that we build on the successes children bring from home. Silverdale Nursery has high aspirations for all our children and we will do this by fostering a positive, inclusive partnership with all children and their families, and in strong collaboration with colleagues from other sectors in our community to promote the health and wellbeing of all the children who attend Silverdale Nursery.”
